I am a writer. A large chunk of this blog will act as the official notes for my novel entitled Goltha, including all my thoughts and progression with that specific work. Once in awhile I might throw in some thoughts on writing, reading, or other various topics that I enjoy.

I started writing in high school. Poems, lyrics, and fiction. Fiction started to stick with me more than the other two, and I kept up with it ever since. I love to write. I'll be doing it until my dying breath, and if people read it then I suppose that would be an added bonus.

It's hard to be a writer if you don't like to read. Reading is my second love, and if I'm not writing then I'm probably reading. I like to read old classics, myth stories, or epics. Crime and Punishment. Tale of Two Cities. Beowulf. Nibelungenlied. Dracula. Fyodor Dostoyevsky is hands down my favorite novelist. I also admire George MacDonald, Novalis, and Edgar Allen Poe. Some of my favorite current writers would include Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, and Lev Grossman, to name a few.
